The biggies that popped out to me in this article were:

  • reduced obesity and cancer risk
  • better posture
  • more focused time management

I have just moved offices and I’m seriously considering one for myself.  But I have a lot of questions before I make this trendy leap.  After all, I’m not a millennial in a huge think-tank re-done loft downtown, with people whizzing by on hover boards.  But I DO need to move more while I’m in the office and I DO have lower back and hip problems.  Wouldn’t hurt to lose some lbs either… just sayin’.  So I’m faced with the big choice.  Do I get the pretty (still functional) desk that I want or do I go with something ‘smarter’.
